About the Lecture
The lecture will explore how artificial intelligence, machine vision, sensing, and robotics are being combined to automate agricultural operations. It will discuss applications such as autonomous navigation, harvesting, pruning, thinning, and other field and orchard tasks, together with the engineering challenges involved in moving these systems into routine agricultural use.
