About the Lecture
This lecture will discuss how artificial intelligence, machine vision, sensing, and robotics are being combined to automate agricultural operations in difficult outdoor environments, including autonomous navigation, harvesting, pruning, thinning, pollination, weed control, and other field and orchard tasks, together with the challenges and opportunities involved in moving these systems into broader agricultural use.
