About the Lecture
This lecture will discuss batteries that go beyond today’s lithium-ion technology, particularly why sodium battery technology is attractive, how solid-state and anode-free architectures work, the materials and interface challenges they present, and how energy density, cost, cycle life, safety, and manufacturability will determine which technologies can move from the laboratory to widespread use.
